Love the chicken curry. Chinese style curry. The bee hoon is packed with flavors. The nasi lemak is old school traditional home cooked style with a big fried kembung fish. The roti canai is crispy too. We really like it here. Beverages great too. Recommend!

A Paws-itively Snifftacular Café Discovery in Taman Melodies – Keystone Café My hooman gave me the best command ever: “Go sniff out something new.” So, nose to the ground and tail wagging high, we padded down the streets of Taman Melodies, pawsing at every promising corner. Near Holiday Plaza, my snout led us to an unfamiliar scent trail… straight into Keystone Café — and boy, was this a tail-waggin’ jackpot! The door swung open and bam! — the cool air hit my fur just right. What a feeling! The inside? Oh, pure pupstagram material. Trendy, warm lighting, and — oh wow — chairs with armrests! A rare sight in the JB café scene. Hooman loved that. I curled up under the table, but I was secretly eyeing what was coming next… Sniff-test #1: The Thick Chick (Porridge) Most cafés water down their porridge so much, it’s like chasing soup, not rice. Not here! This bowl was thick, creamy, and oh-so-satisfying. Loaded with plenty of shredded chicken and my favorite: soft, mushy peanuts — enough to make a good boi drool. They served it with three snazzy spoonfuls of century egg, sesame oil, and a zingy soy-chili sauce. It hit all the notes — savory, spicy, and slurpable. Sniff-test #2: The Curry Clucker (Nasi Lemak) Next, hooman shared bites of their curry chicken nasi lemak, topped with an egg that jiggled like my excited tail. What made me perk up? That special sambal sauce, perfectly balanced and not too spicy for my sensitive sniffer. Bonus points: the ikan bilis and peanuts were served in their own twin bowl, so nothing got soggy. The rice? Fragrant enough to make me want to roll in it (but hooman wouldn’t let me). Sniff-test #3: The Woofin’ Roll (Chicken & Prawn) Hooman was so impressed they fetched a second helping — a spring roll packed with chicken, prawn, and crunchy veggies. I gave it my signature head tilt of approval. Crispy outside, juicy inside. I didn’t get a full bite, but the aroma was pawsome. Details That Made My Tail Wag Now here’s the part that really made my tail spin: they serve everything in tiny porcelain bowls — the kind that say, “We take pride in your plate.” For a discerning doggo like me, that matters. Clean bowls, clean tables, and even cleaner toilets (I checked, I have standards too!). “I peeked into the kitchen and noted the dishwasher wagging away at the beverage section — and I knew: this place isn’t just spotless, it’s pup-level safe to dine!” Operated since 2022 and still spotless — that’s more than a dog year of excellence! ⸻ Final Pawprint: Keystone Café isn’t just another sniff on the map — it’s a full-sensory adventure. For any café-hunting doggo (or hooman), this spot is worth a detour. Paws down, I’d come back again. And again. And maybe again if I can boop the server just right.

The rich, aromatic curry broth perfectly complements tender chicken pieces and fresh noodles, creating a comforting bowl that hits all the right notes. The portion sizes are generous, the service is friendly, and the prices are reasonable, making this a must-visit spot for anyone craving genuine Malaysian comfort food in a cozy, unpretentious setting.

A very homely place. You could feel that the staff enjoy working here as they are very genuine when serving you . They smile and greet you earnestly. Food portion is huge for mains. Weekend fried mee Siam could come toe to toe with a more popular cafe around town. Love their mock rendang with mushrooms something unique. Food feels homely. They even. Compliments the Malaya cakes which is a nice gesture. I know where to go next time I crave for Malaysia style food.
